When we founded Vitara CarePilot, we had a clear purpose: to help people live safely and independently at home while giving their families greater confidence and peace of mind.

"I spoke with consultants who were offering policy packs for thousands of dollars," Daniel explains. "And that was only the tip of the iceberg. If you wanted someone to help you implement those policies and become compliant in practice, the cost increased quite substantially."

At an early stage, while we were still establishing our operations and building revenue, investing thousands of dollars before delivering services was a significant commitment.

The greater challenge, however, was not simply obtaining the right documents. It was knowing how to turn them into consistent, compliant ways of working.

"The hardest part was knowing that having the documents wasn't enough. You also needed to understand what to do, how to do it and whether you were genuinely meeting the standards."
